Digitaria Adds Social Communications Specialist
Continuing to expand capabilities and resources following last year's WPP acquisition, digital marketing and technology company Digitaria has hired Stephanie Shkolnik as social media strategist, a new position.

"An ardent social media evangelist who nevertheless maintains an even-keel eye on the bottom line and ROI, Stephanie joins Digitaria from Double Forte in San Francisco, where she led the public relations and marketing communications company's social efforts."

While at Double Forte, Mrs. Shkolnik launched produce industry leader Fresh Express into its first social media endeavor, building and executing social media marketing strategies that enhanced the brand's awareness. Her success for Fresh Express led to similar subsequent assignments for Major League Gaming as well as CamelBak, the innovators of hands-free hydration. She successfully built upon the both brands' established traditional campaigns, amplifying them through Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social platforms.

Mrs. Shkolnik began her new social media strategist position at Digitaria June 1, coinciding with Interactive Day San Diego, which she attended and made her Twitter debut via Digitaria's @digithoughts. Â She reports to Doug Hecht, Digitaria's COO.
Additionally, Digitaria has hired Kristina Eastham as Communications Coordinator. She comes to Digitaria from Specialized Marketing Services in Santa Ana, Calif., where Ms. Eastham was brand manager for the company's two divisions: Team SMS, a marketing agency, and SMS Fulfillment & Distribution, a fulfillment company.
Mrs. Shkolnik and Ms. Eastham are the latest hires at the rapidly expanding Digitaria, which brought aboard 13 new employees in the past month, as the company continues to capitalize upon marketing and technology opportunities in the wake of it's affiliation with global advertising powerhouse JWT.
