Outside Counsel Solutions Names Shanah Glick as Head of Its Derivatives and Energy Practice Groups

Outside Counsel Solutions announces that Shanah Glick has become the head of the Derivatives and Energy practice groups. She was previously a partner at the New York law firm of Richards, Kibbe & Orbe LLP.

NEW YORK, NY, September 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Outside Counsel Solutions LLP, a full-service law firm, announced that Shanah Glick has become the head of the Derivatives and Energy practice groups. She was previously a partner at the New York law firm of Richards, Kibbe & Orbe LLP.

Shanah will lead the attorneys in her practice groups in the negotiation of sophisticated agreements for the OCS' clients, including a Fortune 100 energy company. Shanah's focus will be on negotiating agreements with domestic and international counterparties, having experience with industry standard documentation relating to derivatives and energy trading, such as the ISDA, NAESB and EEI standard master agreements.

Outside Counsel Solutions' Derivatives and Energy practices represent clients, including Hess Corporation and its affiliates, in the negotiation of long-term wholesale energy trading agreements, retail supply agreements, and ISDA master agreements for trading commodity derivatives, foreign currencies, rate swaps, and equity derivatives.

Shanah also has over 15 years experience advising hedge funds, investment banks and other capital market participants with respect to securities transactions and regulation as well as par and distressed syndicated loan transactions and claims trading.

Before coming to OCS, Shanah worked for 14 years at Richards Kibbe & Orbe becoming counsel in 2003 and then partner in 2007. Prior to that, she was a corporate associate at Dechert LLP. Shanah received her law degree from the University of Chicago School of Law and her undergraduate degree in Economics from Princeton University. She also spent a year as a Foreign Clerk to Justice Dalia Dorner in the Supreme Court of Israel.
