LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, June 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Badminton Bonanza is coming to Liverpool for a second successive year and hundreds of people are expected to turn up for the sporting occasion.
Taking place on June 12th at the Echo Arena, the event will see 18 courts and a host of badminton-related stands set up.
As well as being able to find out all they want to know about the sport, visitors can take part in friendly competitions or simply hit a shuttlecock around with friends.
In a statement, the organisers said: "Whether you are a beginner new to badminton, a social player or a league player from within the thriving club scene, the bonanza has something to offer in a relaxed, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere."
The Liverpool event is one of four Badminton Bonanzas taking place this summer, with London's Sobell Leisure Centre hosting one and the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham providing the venue for the other two.
Last year, 300 people attended the inaugural edition at the Echo Arena and the team behind the spectacle are expecting just as many this summer.
LateRooms.com offers a wide range of Liverpool hotels that may appeal to badminton enthusiasts, including the Adelphi Hotel Liverpool .
