LONGMEADOW, MA, June 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) The World Dance Council (WDC), headquartered in Surrey, England announced last week the elections of Mr. Jack Rothweiler, President of Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios in Longmeadow, MA, and Mr. Brian McDonald, President of the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) in Yucaipa, CA, to a three-year term as Vice Presidents of WDC. The world authority for professional dance and dance sport, the WDC is committed to encouraging and promoting dance through its broad world membership.
This is the second, three-year term for Mr. Rothweiler who has first-hand knowledge of overseas' dance organizations, and has been instrumental in developing owners of independent studios into Fred Astaire Dance Studio franchisees.
Since 1994, Mr. McDonald has served as President of the NDCA, the leading authority of dance for professionals, amateurs and Pro/Am Competitors, diligently making the United States one of the strongest member countries in the world. Mr. McDonald was last elected Vice President of the WDC in 1999.
