First Long Range, High Speed Communications for Lego Mindstorms NXT

WASHINGTON, DC, June 09, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dexter Industries is proud to announce the release of their latest sensor for the Lego Mindstorms NXT systm, the NXTBee. The NXTBee is a high speed, long distance communications sensor that uses the XBee radio system. The sensor is the first to utilize the NXT's RS485 capabilities. The sensors bring not only improved communications, but also mesh networking, secure networking, and a host of more advanced protocols to the system. Dexter Industries believes this sensor will bring swarm robotics to the Lego Mindstorms NXT system.
