Leading product configurator company to feature integration with PTC's Creo Elements/Pro

2011-06-10
OAK BROOK, IL, June 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) Configure One http://www.configureone.com, a leading provider of web-based product configurator and electronic catalog software, today announced the company will showcase Concept Enterprise Product Configurator at PlanetPTC Live to be held at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, Nevada, June 12-15.

Configure One will participate as a Gold Sponsor at the PlanetPTC Live (formerly PTC/USER World Event). Configure One will demonstrate Concept, seamlessly integrated with Creo Elements/Pro , at its booth (#500). Concept is ideal for companies that design and manufacture configurable, multi-option, and customizable products and are looking to automate the entire quote-to-order process.

In addition, Ron Mouw, one of Configure One's three co-founders and owners, and Jeremy Wernick, project manager, will explain during a 40 minute conference breakout session how configurator software seamlessly integrated to Creo/Elements Pro will extend the benefits of Creo/Elements Pro beyond the walls of engineering, and how a configurator can automate sales and engineering tasks while making sales, distributors, and customers more self-sufficient. Attendees to this presentation/demonstration will learn how their companies' product rules and logic can be captured by configurator software and then leveraged on an ongoing basis. The presentation includes showing how an enterprise product configurator can automatically translate users' product feature and option selections into pricing, quotations, to scale sales and production drawings (via a seamless integration to Creo Elements/Pro), bills of material, manufacturing routings, virtual product images, and more.

"For more than a decade Configure One has provided seamless integrated with Creo Elements/Pro," said Dan Howe, Configure One's vice president, professional services. "The power of Concept integrated with Creo Elements/Pro has allowed our customers to dramatically reduce the quote-to-order lead time—from days/hours to minutes. This allows engineers to spend more time designing new products rather than creating sales drawings or doing mundane order processing work."
