CommunityDNS Supports World IPv6 Day

As Internet expansion continues, IPv6 is necessary

BATH, ENGLAND, June 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) "The Internet has proven to be far more successful than any of us had originally thought. To keep up with the Internet's growth support for IPv6 is important. This is why we support the efforts of World IPv6 Day", states Paul Kane, CEO of CommunityDNS.

Today, June 8, organizations such as Google, Facebook and Yahoo! will be serving up content in IPv6 for a 24 hour period in hope of shedding light on IPv6. Sponsored by the Internet Society, the goal is to help organizations see the importance of IPv6 and to begin making the move towards IPv6 compliance.

Having supported IPv6 since its platform's initial design CommunityDNS is considered native-IPv4 and native-IPv6 compliant.
