International Microsystems Introduces New M5315 USB Duplicator

PLYMOUTH, MN, June 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) International Microsystems, Inc., has just released their newest product, the M5315 USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 Duplicator. The M5315 is the fastest USB duplicator on the market, and includes a variety of useful features.

The M5315 supports both USB 3.0 Super Speed and USB 2.0 High Speed devices. It utilizes one master socket and 15 target sockets for parallel USB duplication. The M5315 operates on a built-in Linux PC system with 320GB HDD, and runs at copy speeds greater than 3.5 GB/minute and verification speeds greater than 2.5 GB/minute for USB 3.0 devices, even with all 15 target sockets employed. Copy and verification speeds are even faster for USB 2.0 devices.

International Microsystems' new USB duplicator features easy-to-use, intuitive software for quick setup and operation. It can be run entirely from its front panel controls and LCD status screen, and a 17" VGA LCD screen, PC keyboard, and mouse are supplied with each unit for complex operations. The M5315 offers highly reliable "bit-by-bit" data verification, and options for faster, less reliable USB duplication.

The M5315 USB Duplicator is adaptable for use with USB hard drives, mobile phones, PNDs and PDAs. A number of copy methods are available, and multiple file types can be duplicated. The IMI Smart Copy system copies only the used portions of the master USB to the target drives.
