Amazing Kids! Announces Spring "Fun-Raiser" Donation Drive: Top Fundraisers to Receive Prizes from Children's Book Publishers

Participants in the fundraiser are encouraged to challenge themselves to become the top "FUN"draiser for each week from now until June 30.

SHORELINE, WA, June 11, 2011 (Press-News.org) Amazing Kids! (amazing-kids.org) is excited to announce the kick off its 2011 springtime FUNdraiser! The organization encourages both parents and their kids to "have fun and do good", by showing their support and helping raise much needed funds for Amazing Kids!' award-winning children's literacy programs. Proceeds to benefit the kid-created Amazing Kids! Magazine (mag.amazing-kids.org) and Amazing Kids!' traditional letter writing pen pals program, the Amazing Kids! PenPals program, which has been featured in Parenting Magazine as a "a great site that'll connect kids to real live pen-and-paper friends."

Participants in the fundraiser are encouraged to challenge themselves to become the top "FUN"draiser for each week from now until June 30. Prizes will be awarded to each week's highest fundraisers, and will include books from Amazing Kids! Spring FUNdraiser's sponsors, including Bindi Wild Adventures books from Sourcebooks, The Klutz Book of Inventions books from Klutz, or Aloha, Kanani and Good Job, Kanani books. The top overall fundraisers who raise $100 or more will be entered into a drawing to win an American Girl Kanani doll and book, or an iPod Shuffle, valued at over $100 and $49 respectively.

Amazing Kids!' Founder and President Alyse Rome comments: "Having helped our kids receive over $1 million in financial and in-kind support over the past 13 years, in our efforts to help them realize their own amazing potential and launch their dreams, Amazing Kids! has been so fortunate to have garnered the appreciation of some incredibly dedicated supporters over the past 13 years.
