CORNWALL, ENGLAND, June 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Singing star Jonathan Ansell is heading to Cornwall for a live performance next month.

The former G4 frontman will appear at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on Monday July 4th, when fans can look forward to a memorable evening of classical gems and pop hits.

Ansell has two solo albums to his name and is one of the most popular tenors in the UK, having sold out venues across the country and appeared on TV shows such as Last Choir Standing.

He found fame as a member of G4, a quartet of male vocalists who formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

They finished in second place on The X Factor in 2004 and went on to enjoy considerable chart success before splitting in 2007.

Ansell has promised to perform many G4 favourites during his debut UK tour as a solo artist.

Songs expected to feature in the set include Bohemian Rhapsody, Barcelona, Nessun Dorma and Circle of Life.

Tickets for the show are available online, priced between GBP22.50 and GBP39. The performance is due to begin at 19:30 BST.
