Plugging into social media for higher search rankings
SEM success isn't only about the right keyword selection and bid price. Savvy online retailers know that connecting with customers through Facebook and Twitter builds online buzz around their brand and merchandise, and that the pass-along effect helps build links, traffic and ultimately, relevance that can push them higher in search engine results to position them for more sales. In this session attendees will hear from an online retailer exactly how it used those connections to elevate its products in natural search and the results it achieved. A technology company that creates, manages and measures campaigns that run on social networks will walk attendees through how participating in those off-site venues can boost SEO outcomes.
Date/Time: 6/14/2011 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM
San Diego Convention Center

SimpleFeed will present case studies of Internet Retailers using automated publishing to Facebook and Twitter and the impact on Google, Bing, Twitter and Facebook search results. HP will be presenting a case study on its use of RSS and social media marketing and its impact on search rankings. The panel will include a discussion of SEO best practices for Internet Retailers.
