LateRooms.com - Liverpool Welcomes Kim Cattrall for Antony and Cleopatra

Antony and Cleopatra will see theatre actor Jeffery Kissoon and Kim Cattrall take to the stage in Liverpool.

2010-09-17
LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, September 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall will appear alongside Jeffery Kissoon in a production of Antony and Cleopatra in Liverpool later this year.

The pair will take on the title roles in the show, which will be available for guests at Liverpool hotels to see from October 8th to November 13th.

Directed by Janet Suzman, this classic tale looks set to be a treat thanks to the quality of the talent on and off stage.

"A remarkable cast in Shakespeare's epic tragedy of passion and empire sees Kim Cattrall returning to her birth city to play arguably Shakespeare's strongest, most awe-inspiring female character," remarked the venue.

Cattrall was born in Mossley Hill in Liverpool and spent her childhood between the UK and Canada.

She has made appearances in several successful productions on stage and screen, but is perhaps most famous for her portrayal of Samantha in the US comedy romance series Sex and the City.

Joining her on stage will be stage actor Jeffery Kissoon, as well as Ian Hogg, Martin Hutson and Aicha Kossoko, among other supporting cast members.

Standard tickets for the show cost between GBP12 and GBP29.50 and are available from the box office or online, with evening performances starting at 19:00 BST and matinees at 13:30.

For more information on this event visit the Everyman Playhouse website or contact the venue on 0151 709 4776.
