RIDGELAND, MS, September 17, 2010 (Press-News.org) Intechra, the largest independent IT asset disposition (ITAD) company in the United States, announced the one-year anniversary of their partnership with Environmental Capital Partners (ECP), a New York-based private equity firm.

On August 13, 2009, ECP acquired the assets of Intechra Holding Corporation (IHC). Last month Intechra celebrated its first successful year in partnership with ECP - a year marked by growth in service, growth in Fortune 500 clients, and facility growth with the recent addition of a 75,000-square-foot processing center in Reno, Nevada.

"We were attracted to Intechra because we noticed a growing demand in the market for best-practice ITAD services," said Robert Egan, a managing partner of ECP. "As more and more companies begin to honestly address the data security and environmental compliance risks associated with the disposal of IT equipment, they are increasingly looking to partner with ITAD experts. Intechra's long history in the ITAD industry positions them to take advantage of this growing demand."

In this new age, organizations need guidance and insight to properly, effectively and safely dispose of their IT assets. As one of the nation's largest ITAD organizations, Intechra combines extensive industry knowledge with robust resources and capabilities.

"Since our inception more than 20 years ago, Intechra has been a global leader, innovator and catalyst in the ITAD industry. In fact, the history of IT asset disposition services can be best described by the history of Intechra. We've introduced many of the industry's best-practice processes including environmental stewardship and security for IT assets," said Michael Profit, Intechra CEO.

"Intechra's vision for the last and next 20 years remains the same: to provide our clients with confidence that their IT assets are being disposed of in an environmentally conscious way that directly addresses data security risks," said Profit. "Within the past year, our growth has been impressive. It's truly a testament to the strong support of the new partnership."

Intechra is the largest independent IT asset disposition company in the United States, providing ITAD services to many of the world's largest companies. It focuses exclusively on eliminating the risks surrounding data security and environmental compliance, while maximizing value recovery on IT asset investment for businesses around the world.
