SACRAMENTO, CA, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) World-renowned photographer and marketing guru Sandy Puc' will be in Sacramento on July 13 to share her passion and knowledge of Children's photography through her Boutique Babies and Couture Kids Creative Edge Tour. The tour will visit 39 cities throughout the U.S. during the summer and early fall.
Attendees can look forward to broadening their skills through her professional seminars relating to shooting techniques, the new wave of popular boutique set and props, video fusion and the important foundation to any photography business, pricing and marketing. Sandy will take her audience to the next level and is prepared to tackle the developing trends in children's photography while sharing more in depth skills of working with children, posing, lighting and much more.
"I'm beyond excited to be back, not only sharing my passion for photography, but specifically children's photography. It is what I started out doing and it has become my specialty in the industry. This tour will be like coming home," Puc' said of the tour.
Sandy will be searching for models to be photographed on stage in each city. Attendees will have an opportunity to submit their favorite baby model, whether it is a client or their own child. The contest launches June 15 and will be hosted by SmugMug, a community of hundreds of thousands of photo-loving customers. The winners will be announced a week before the tour comes to town and is based completely on attendee and viewer votes.
Education, as well as charity, play significant roles in Sandy's life. She shares with many photographers the benefits of co-founding Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, an international non-profit of volunteer photographers who take images of stillborn babies or babies who are expected to die shortly after birth. She will be sharing more about her desire to give the art of photography to every family and child, regardless of their situation.
From the semi pro to the professional photographer, this experience will help improve child photography skills and help businesses become the most progressive, sought-after studios in their market.
