RALEIGH, NC, June 17, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Chef's Academy (http://www.thechefsacademy.com), the Culinary Division of Harrison College, a 108-year-old, nationally accredited institution that offers more than 30 degree programs in five schools of study, has announced that Ashley N. Hanslits has been named an admissions representative for the school's North Carolina presence. In this position, Hanslits provides students with information about The Chef's Academy, including classes, schedules and tuition. She guides students through their decision to enroll in the institute and counsels them through issues that may hinder their participation in the program.
With more than ten years of industry experience, Hanslits has been with The Chef's Academy for two and a half years. Originally from Indianapolis, she earned her bachelor's degree in sport management from Marian University before relocating to Raleigh with her bulldog, Chip, earlier this year. Hanslits volunteers her time with the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and participates in several of the area's networking groups for young professionals.
