MESA, AZ, June 19, 2011 (Press-News.org) Military personnel, their parents, siblings and children can receive 50% off of any service and 20% off Peter Hantz, Asazi, eXo and Madrid's products July 1st and 2nd at Olympian University, 1011E. 10th St. in Alamogordo.
To participate in the career college's Patriotic Beauty campaign, patrons must show military I.D. or some sort of physical proof such as an email, letter or photograph to prove their spouse, son or daughter or sibling is serving in the U.S. military.
"We really wanted to do something special to honor our troops, as well as the families who support them," said Jessica Wolman, one of the owners of the cosmetology school. "We also provide great educational opportunities in cosmetology and aesthetics for those who want to pursue beauty as a career."
The cosmetology students perform the services under the supervision of a licensed instructor. No appointment is necessary, however customers should call to allow enough time for all services to be performed.
In addition to Olympian University in Alamogordo, Albuquerque and Las Cruces, the company operates Aladdin Beauty College in Roswell. The company also owns and operates other cosmetology and aesthetics schools throughout the U.S. The cosmetology schools include: nine schools in Texas under the names ITS Academy of Beauty College and Aladdin Beauty College; one school in Oklahoma under the Aladdin Beauty College moniker; as well as Hair Benders Academy in Florida.
