VIRGINIA, BEACH, VA, June 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Anchor Innovation continued support to US Fleet Forces (USFF) Command during their Antiterrorism Executive Agent Conference held at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, VA. Efforts were tied to an extension of contract analytic support for the second of USFF's annual Antiterrorism Flag Summit. The EA Conference gathers the U.S. Navy's antiterrorism key stakeholders, leadership and expertise to address current program and mission issues. This year's conference focused on mission execution at the deck-plates and attendees participated in working groups to propose solutions for focus areas requiring improvement. "Whereas last year's conference identified key systemic issues, this year the working groups developed workable solutions," reflected Chris Powell, Anchor's President. "There has been considerable progress in fleet-wide implementation of the USFF Defensive AT CONOPS and the impressive focus of leadership and subject matter experts have outlined a path that significantly enhances the day to day force posture."
US Fleet Force Command will host the second Antiterrorism Flag Summit in September 2011. The Summit will be a culmination of an expanded set of Antiterrorism Program "Drumbeat" events that includes Navy Component Commander and Antiterrorism Warfare Improvement Program analysis and a Navy-wide alignment of requirements and resources.
