NEW YORK, NY, June 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) New York City gadget users will have an alternative to big-name repair companies this summer, with the launch of JS Technology Group, a new technology repair outfit.
Founded by NYU Stern student Joseph Stornelli, 19, JS Tech strives "to provide expert, high-quality technology services at affordable prices." The company repairs both Macs and PCs. They also provide a repair service for Apple iPhones and other technology services.
"The main thing that sets us apart is convenience," said Stornelli. "We try not to hold onto customers' gadgets. Most repairs are done same-day and are scheduled to meet the customer's needs." The company also offers on-site repairs at an additional charge.
According to Stornelli, customers can expect substantial cost savings through JS Tech. "We're typically 30% cheaper than Apple and other local companies on service alone. When you factor in our reduced cost of parts, the savings increase."
Although only students, Stornelli and his team pack impressive credentials. According to the company's website, each member of his 3-person team has been repairing computers for over 10 years, in addition to having a range of other experiences.
"We are still young," said Stornelli. "But don't be fooled - we approach all jobs as professionals." JS Tech offers a 60-day warranty on hardware repair work and will assist customers with replacing faulty hardware for up to one year after a repair is completed.
To schedule a repair appointment, customers can visit http://www.jstechgroup.com or call 1-855-NYC-TECH.
