Mompreneur, Carol O'Brien, to Unveil New Pet Product to Retailers at AmericasMart in Atlanta on July 15, 2011

Carol O'Brien, the CEO of Cleanicity, will introduce the new StikittyTM to the retail market at AmericasMart Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.

2011-06-30
AUSTIN, TX, June 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Cleanicity, the leading manufacturer of products inspired by clean freaks, is launching its premier product, the Stikitty, to the retail market at AmericasMart Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market on July 15, 2011. The launch marks the innovative paw cleaning mat's transition from an exclusively e-commerce strategy to a combined channel strategy.

"We chose AmericasMart for the Stikitty retail launch because of the Gift & Home Furnishings Market's incredible access to high caliber retailers," explained Carol O'Brien, the CEO of Cleanicity. "Our customers have been asking for more local outlets for the Stikitty and we know AmericasMart will help us connect with the retailers so we can meet our customers' needs."

The new product is a lightweight, adhesive mat that uses cleanroom technology to proactively clean cats' paws and stop the spread of germs and cat litter throughout pet owners' homes. According to Ms. O'Brien, the results are happier and healthier pets and pet owners.

With nearly 40 million US homes with cats, Ms. O'Brien says the StikittyTM is a $2 billion opportunity for her company and its retail partners. Originally introduced to the e-commerce market as the Kitty Litter Gripper Mat, Ms. O'Brien indicates the product redesign began in early 2011.

"Our online customers gave us tremendous feedback to improve the product," explained Ms. O'Brien about the product changes. "At the same time, we worked closely with retail experts on packaging, costs, and branding to help ensure a successful introduction to the retail market."
