MAKATI, PHILIPPINES, July 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Imaginet International Inc, the leading systems integrator and managed network hosting and content security services provider in the Philippines, in cooperation with the Expats' Ladies Charities (ELCI), sponsored the School Supplies for Children project for the Bulao Elementary School of Iponan, Cagayan De Oro City.
On Friday, June 3, 2011, around 300 school children received much needed school supplies like writing materials, notebooks and art materials, for the upcoming start of the school year 2011. ECLI also left more than a hundred school supplies packs with the school administration led by the School Head Teacher. The remaining packs will be distributed to other enrolees when regular classes start.
The Charity event was mainly sponsored by Imaginet together with contributions from some of the other families and friends of ELCI members.
"True to its slogan, "Crossing cultures to make lives better", Expats' Ladies Charities, Inc., will always look forward for every opportunity whereby the contribution of the foreigners, may it be an individual or a company, bring BIG smiles on those little faces handed to them by the happy and cheerful faces of the ELCI ladies." About Expat's Ladies Charities Inc.
Expats Ladies Charities started three years ago with its generic name, CDO Expat's Charity. Our first project was the Children's Christmas Party and Gift Giving in Landfill, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City with 200 children as beneficiaries. With the support that we got from the foreigners all over the country through my active participations in various Expats related forums of the country, we decided to register our group in the name of Expats' Ladies Charities with the vision of encouraging all the Filipina women in the Philippines married to foreigners to reach out to the very less of our Filipino brethren particularly the children. We also aim to inspire our husbands to be involved in all of our activities, thus telling the little community where we belong that the foreigners really care!
True to our slogan, "Crossing Cultures to Make Lives Better" we believe in a man's capacity to feel good after doing what is good for a man regardless of his color! At times we also visit different places, especially places where an ELCI member used to live or wants to go back to her old neighborhood and share some of our programs and blessings.
