Xirrus Appoints New Vice President to Drive Sales and Growth Across EMEA

Experienced Veteran Sean Larner Responsible for Sales and Channel Strategies in Europe, Middle East, and Africa

THOUSAND OAKS, CA, July 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Xirrus , the leader in high performance wireless networks, today announced the appointment of Sean Larner in the role of Vice President of Sales, EMEA. In his new role, Sean will utilise his extensive sales experience to grow Xirrus' revenue and customer base throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Sean will report directly to Hayley Tabor, Vice President of Worldwide Sales, where he will be responsible for the EMEA channel and sales strategies, partner communications, and client liaising, as well as overseeing sales teams across each region.

Prior to joining Xirrus, Sean was CEO and founder of L'arbre Solutions where he was recognised for his executive leadership in the company's operations and growth of high-technology enterprises throughout Europe. Before that, Sean set up and ran Managed Objects' European operations. He started his career in 1988 at CA where he was responsible for many of the company's largest financial transactions and the leadership of CA's revenue generating operations throughout EMEA.

His accomplishments include achieving double digit year on year growth at both CA and Managed Objects, managing the successful acquisition of Platinum Technologies and Sterling Software on behalf of CA, and participating in the sale of Managed Objects to Novell Inc.
