APPLETON, WI, July 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Fava Tea Company, the valley's largest, locally owned independent tea specialty store, announces its CommuniTEA program for July 2011— Barking Up The Right Tea. For the entire month of July 2011, $2.50 from every ounce of Dog Days Blend Black Tea will be donated to support the Fox Valley Humane Association to advance their critical work in the Fox Valley. As an added benefit, everyone who comes into Fava Tea Company with a picture of their special canine will exchange it for a free ounce of select Organic and Fair Trade Rishi Tea, Raspberry Herbal Iced or Tamarac Ginger Black (based on availability), while supplies last and one per household.
"It's a natural fit and we are really excited about supporting such a great local cause especially being a locally based retailer", says Mellisa Stafford; co-owner of Fava Tea Company, "Our 5-½ year old son came up with the 'Fava Tea' name from our two dogs, a Goldendoodle named Moxie (Fava) and a Pekinese Poodle named Tigger (Tea); so benefiting a program for household pets just seems to be fitting". A picture of the threesome sits on the wall above weighing station.
