"The good news is that the average price for a home ticked upward about 1.5%, said Jonathan, however we saw home sales decline about 14% as roughly only 1,700 homes sold compared to the previous year when nearly 2,000 properties were purchased."

We are still in a buyers market and all the indications still show that there is some resistance to purchase based on buyers thinking that perhaps the market will drop a little bit more. With mortgage rates remaining favorable, it appears that the market has already hit bottom and is now remaining stable.
