Orthodontist Dr. Erin Brophey, DMD, Joins Coastal Kids Dental & Braces

CHARLESTON, SC, July 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) Coastal Kids Dental & Braces welcomes Dr. Erin Brophey, DMD as the newest member of their dental team and the first orthodontist to join the practice. Dr. Erin will be providing orthodontic care to the patients of Coastal Kids Dental & Braces.

"We are excited about the addition of Dr. Erin to our team," says Dr. Isabel Driggers, Founder and Owner of Coastal Kids Dental & Braces, "Dr. Erin will be providing orthodontic treatment for our patients within the convenience of our office. Being able to providing orthodontic services for our patients is a perfect complement to our current Pediatric Dental practice. From our initial meeting over a year ago, I knew Dr. Erin would be an excellent fit for the practice. Her passion for orthodontics, high energy, and love for children will make her a favorite of our patients and families."

Dr. Erin attended Clemson University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She then moved to Charleston and earned a DMD degree at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). After dental school, Dr. Erin pursued her passion with orthodontics by completing a three year residency at MUSC where she received her master's degree in science of dentistry and her orthodontic certificate. She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU), the American Association of Orthodontics (AOO), American Dental Association (ADA), and several state and local dental associations.
