Dade Medical College CEO Ernesto Perez Names Raul Mendez to COO Position

Raul Mendez has been named Chief Operating Officer for Dade Medical College. His proven leadership and communication skills will help the health education school maintain its commitment to excellence in education.

MIAMI, FL, September 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) Raul Mendez has been named Chief Operating Officer for Dade Medical College. His proven leadership and communication skills will help the health education school maintain its commitment to excellence in education.

Born and raised in Miami, FL, Mendez joined Dade Medical College in December 2009 as Corporate Director of Admissions. As COO, Raul will work closely with CEO Ernesto Perez and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the four campuses that today employ approximately 300 individuals.

"I take this promotion as a vote of confidence from Ernesto on my ability to understand and execute his vision for Dade Medical College, including our commitment to excellence in education," said Mendez. "Our exceptional graduation and placement rates are something we take very seriously and I look forward to making sure we keep it that way."

"These challenging economic times have forced many people back to school, which in turn has created additional internal needs for our campuses," stated Perez. "As COO, Raul will help our team work more closely together for the common goal of excellence in education for all of our students."

A graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Mendez has nearly 20 years of hands-on business experience. He is married and has a 15-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son. He enjoys golfing and watching baseball on his free time.

Founded in 1999, the school currently has four campuses. The main campus is located at 3721-1 NW 7th Street, Miami, FL 33126. The Hialeah Campus (built in 2007) is located at 2750 W 68th Street, Suite 202, Hialeah, FL 33016. The Homestead Campus (2009) is located at 381 N Krome Ave, Homestead, FL 33030 and a new Hollywood Campus is now housed at 6837 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.
