ATLANTA, GA, July 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Atlanta shredding service Shred-Green is holding a commercial shredding event on Saturday, July 9. Located at the company's Snellville headquarters, the event will offer free Atlanta document shredding for the first five bankers sized boxes.

The Atlanta shredding event has been organized by Shred-Green as a way to reach out to home-based businesses. Like other companies, these small businesses have sensitive documents that need to be securely destroyed, but they may not have access to an Atlanta shredding service, either because they do not meet a minimum requirement of documents to be destroyed or because they are unable to find a vendor to service their home-based business. Shred-Green's event will give these businesses free access to the Atlanta paper shredding services they require.

This is not the first time that Shred-Green has applied its resources and expertise to benefit business owners. Company president and CEO Everett Perkins recently spoke at an Atlanta area Rotary club to advise business owners on how to protect their businesses from fraud and identity theft. Shred-Green has also participated in a variety of community and residential events to provide their Atlanta shredding services to homeowners throughout the metro area.
