What Would Happen If Barack Obama Lost The Election? Every American Should Read This Book!

Author's Stephen A. Enna and Dennis J. Wootten explore that possibility in their new novel, Aloha, the first of a three-book trilogy whose plot is a fascinating combination of facts, fiction and current events.

2011-07-08
BOCA RATON, FL, July 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Aloha, with it's highly imaginative plot twists gives readers a birds eye view into the high stakes political world of secret meetings, back room deals and international intrigue. Aloha is a story that could have been plucked from todays 24/7 news cycle. The book successfully interweaves the backstory of the characters with current story lines as the senior senator from Oregon, Bruce Gavin, prepares to take office as the new (republican) 45th US President.

Gavin ran his campaign on a strong platform of reform and after he becomes President, the American people are informed that he has signed a treaty with the Peoples Republic of China to sell them the Hawaiian Islands for 13 Trillion in cash. The sale will all but eliminate the national debt of $15 trillion. Will President Gavin be able to convince the Senate of the United States that the sale is in the best interest of the country or will the Senate reject the concept and continue with the losing strategy of trying to solve the national debt a little at a time? Why does this deal make sense to both China and the United States and what about the 1.5 million US citizens that reside in the Hawaiian Islands?

"Our novel depicts America's struggle in real time" say authors Enna and Wootten "Our hero, Bruce Gavin, is a very real but flawed character. He is republican, but some of his thinking is more in line with the democrats, he is an advocate for gay rights because he is a closeted gay man (but married to a woman). Turns out that President Gavin was college roommates with the President of Peoples Republic China, Woo Wong, and together they lead readers on a journey that is exciting, imaginative and in reality, could be America's footprint in the not so distant future."

Aloha, spans many decades beginning in the 1970's and culminating in the year 2013 when the leadership of the country and the world is changed forever in this epic-defining drama. At some point readers will start adjusting their thinking from what if...to when...and why not?

Stephen A. Enna and Dennis J. Wootten have been business partners for over 16 years. Both authors reside in the Northern California Bay Area and work together managing their Consulting firm, EW Partners Inc. Steve Enna is married, has two grown children and two grandchildren. Dennis Wootten is married, has three sons, and two grandchildren. For the record...both authors love Hawaii and vacation there annually.

It is rumored, however, that they are both studying the Chinese language.
