Embark on a New Career with Canada's Only Private School for Personal Trainers, On the Edge Fitness Educators

School offers education and certification in the field of personal training and assists in employment placement post-completion.

2011-07-14
NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, July 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Canada's only private school for personal trainers, On the Edge Fitness Educators, has a specially designed program that allows individuals to pursue and obtain certification in personal training no matter what their schedule. In addition, On the Edge has established relationships with businesses throughout the government, private and corporate sectors that enable the school to assist its students in gaining employment after completion of their program.

CEO Donna Hutchinson has experienced monumental success in finding employment for her students and does not see that waning any time soon: "Employers constantly come to our school and hire our graduates before the ink is even dry on their certificate." If a student prefers to start his or her own personal training business, Donna assists them with business start-up in an advisory capacity, making On the Edge Fitness Educators a true one-stop shop.

The personal training certification program is just 40 hours long and usually takes only five months to complete. The time commitment required from students is two one-hour sessions weekly but can be adapted to the student's individual lifestyle requirements. There is no fixed enrolment date, thus students can begin at a time that is most convenient to them. Students receive one-on-one training, internationally-recognized certification and employment assistance for just $3,500.

The importance of leading an active lifestyle, maintaining a healthy weight and eating well has begun, in recent years, to receive the attention it deserves in society and in the media. Because of this, there is no shortage of demand for personal trainers and fitness instructors and this area of employment allows for a rewarding and flexible work life. As Donna says, "Everybody wants a personal trainer because it helps with motivation and adherence, allowing clients to get results faster."
