The complimentary webinars proved extremely popular with the firm's clients and the general business community, with some webinars drawing up to 400 participants. New this year is the addition of CPE credits for several of the live webinars. According to Plante & Moran Managing Partner Gordon Krater, CPA, the webinars have become a strategic tool for Plante & Moran to share timely news and industry trends with the middle market business community.

"Plante & Moran launched the Topics 4 the Times webinar series in the fall of 2009 when our goal was to help businesses adopt longer-term thinking to ultimately emerge from the recession as stronger companies," explains Krater. "Feedback was overwhelmingly positive to that series. Now we are taking a deeper dive into some of the specific changes affecting business in 2010 and into the future."

The first seminar occurs on Wednesday, September 15th and is entitled, Logistics: Is it Anchoring Your Strategy or Weighing You Down? There are 18 webinar topics in total and other topics include health care reform, changes in accounting standards, tax planning and minimization strategies, data security, cloud computing and the advantages of an internal audit, among others.
