MIWD Launches New Website to Sell its New Line of MI EnergyCore Energy Efficient Windows

PRESCOTT VALLEY, AZ, July 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) MI Windows and Doors announced that its new website is now live at http://MIenergycore.com. The site is media-rich and has been designed to be accessible via all devices including all web browsers, tablets, and Smartphones with both web and mobile-friendly versions. The mobile version will load automatically and provides and robust experience while still allowing users to access the full site if they choose to.

The site has been designed around customer types with easy access for homeowners who are looking for information about energy efficient windows and doors, professionals like builders and architects who need installation and technical information, and a password-protected dealer portal with tools to help market, sell, and support the new window line.

The site is launching in conjunction with a product launch event starting today at the Prescott Resort and Conference center. At this three day event, MIWD's top dealers, salespeople and industry partners will learn more about the products and the marketing tools that have been created to help sell the new line. Dealers attending the event will complete the training required to become MI EnergyCore Certified Dealers.

Designed from the ground up to be device neutral, the site will support all platforms including all major web browsers, iPads and Android-based tablets, and Smartphones like Blackberrys, iPhones, and Androids. It is coded using HTML 5.0 and JavaScript so that animations and videos work on all devices unlike Flash-based sites that exclude many customers who use Apple products. The mobile version of the site will load automatically and provides a robust experience while still allowing users to access the full site if they choose to.

Patrick Schutte, Business Development Consultant for MIWD designed the site and then partnered with Webvanta Inc., a Sebastapol CA based technology company, to build it. Says Schutte, "Webvanta is known for its hosted CMS website solutions, and we selected them to build our new MI EnergyCore web site and its companion iPad application. Webvanta offered a unique solution that allowed us to deploy to the web, mobile devices, and to an iPad application simultaneously."
