DALLAS, GA, August 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) The North Georgia Patriot Rock Band, "Not On My Watch," which recently released their Tea Party Anthem Song "Taxed Enough Already," are not shy about taking a few well-placed swipes at Liberal Politicians and their pet projects.
"Talk about having to dumb it down," says Johnny Bailey; Lead Singer, Drummer and Spokesman for Not On My Watch. "If these Liberally educated elites CANNOT grasp a simple message of fiscal responsibility that has been relentlessly thrown at them from ALL sides, then perhaps dumbing it down to simple song form might work," states Bailey. "Hey, it worked in kindergarden with ABC's, right?" Bailey grins. Give em a chance now..... So, HOW much does a Liberal college education run these days?" Bailey laughingly asks.
About the Cowboy Poetry dig to Sen. Harry Reid at the end of "Taxed Enough Already," Bailey says, "How can any sane American NOT go postal with that little piece of utter foolishness? Seriously, 11 MILLION DOLLARS? For Cowboy Poetry? When the federal government is lifting sofa cushions for beer money? And he wonders why other countries are laughing at us. A true source of folly and embarrassment, that one."
"Not on my Watch" is a Patriot Rock group from North Georgia, and one of the first in this new music genre. The band just released their debut 5 song EP, with a Tea Party Anthem song titled "Taxed Enough Already." Their music carries a very direct and unvarnished view of the Freedom Movement's viewpoints and Tenets. They can be followed on Twitter, Facebook, Patriot Action Network and My Space.

IRRI Uncovers Genetic Info on Chalky Rice
2011-07-29
In a major discovery, the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) uncovered important genetic information on what makes rice chalky - an undesirable trait that can devalue the grain by up to 25%.
The discovery could lead to higher quality "chalk-free" rice. A chalk-free rice has higher milling recovery, which means better returns for farmers.
Chalk, the white, opaque portion in rice, increases the chances of the rice grain breaking when milled. This reduces the amount of rice recovered, and downgrades the quality assessment rating of rice.
