MegaPath Announces Tech Talk Online Video Competition Early Entry Winner

Tech Talk Online Video Competition from MegaPath features clever and funny videos that use tech jargon from today's IT professional. A $2,000 cash prize has been awarded to the Early Entry winner.

HOLLADAY, UT, August 08, 2011

MegaPath Inc., a leading provider of managed data, voice, and security services, awarded a $2,000 prize to Kyle Bloom of Kansas City for his MegaPath Tech Talk Online Video Competition entry "I'm IT." In this 60-second video for the online contest, Bloom raps his way into the hearts of tech geeks with lyrics like "The name's Malware, my tech skills are malicious."

More than $28,000 in prize money is still available as the online contest continues, with winners to be announced the week of Aug. 28, 2011. A tech dictionary called the IT Jargon Dictionary has been published on the online contest website for use by Tech Talk video producers and the non-technical public.

ONLINE CONTEST DETAILS
The Tech Talk Online Video Competition launched in conjunction with Zooppa, the world's leading source of user-generated advertising, giving amateur videographers and IT professionals an opportunity to implement the use of complex tech terms into 60-second videos. Even with the Early Entry prize awarded to Bloom, there is still $28,000 in cash prizes to be awarded, including:

$10,000 grand prize for the best online video
$4,000 second place
$3,000 third place
Cash prizes for 4th through 12th place finishers
Social Share sweepstakes awards for three visitors who 'share' entries with their social networks.

MegaPath is accepting video contest submissions until Friday, August 12, 2011 and winners will be announced the week of August 28, 2011.
