Dining, shopping, strolling in Downtown Livermore will just keep getting more exciting. Livermore Downtown had a facelift a few years back with a new cinema, performing arts theater, new restaurants and shops, and a New Streetscape for the historic district of favorite dining and shopping areas. You can now expect to stroll through downtown right at your finger tips. Find out the latest events happening in downtown, search for dining places or where to shop. Rachael Snedecor, Executive Director of Livermore Downtown Inc., conceived the idea of reaching the residents through their mobile devices. Through the use of Trends Global's revolutionary ObiMobile mobile technology platform, she did just that. Livermore Downtown mobile app puts Livermore Downtown at the fingertips of people worldwide. Since its release, the Livermore Downtown mobile app has users from Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America. It was particularly helpful for non-Livermore residents who watched the Amgen Tour of California, Start Stage 4 in Livermore.The Livermore Downtown mobile app lets you find the daily specials, maps, theater schedules, dining places that have live music, serve wine, or do delivery. You can navigate to the shops and restaurants to see the type of food and products they serve and sell. There are sections for kids and adults such as the "Just for Kids" and "Night Life." Visitors can click on the "Play & Stay" option to find great hotels and places to go like Livermore's wineries.
