Leading Law Firm Hill Dickinson Partners with REDTRAY in Major Training Project

From July 2011 the blended learning provider, REDTRAY, has joined with law firm Hill Dickinson to support the delivery of IT training, in a partnership that will last for the next three years.

2011-08-25
LONDON, ENGLAND, August 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) The strategic partnership aims to improve work efficiency at Hill Dickinson through the development of IT skills and an enhanced employee training experience, tailored around specific roles within the firm.

Keith Feeny, IT & Operations Director at Hill Dickinson explains, "We want to become a market-leader when it comes to the use of technology and aim to be one of the most IT literate law firms in the world. The current market situation calls for a legal firm to be more competitive than ever before. To meet the changing requirements of the legal services industry we need to be able to rapidly adopt technology into our practice; this is why partnering with a training expert such as REDTRAY is so significant in reaching our goal."

The outsourcing will harness the expertise of REDTRAY's Learning Services team and will involve a blend of training methods such as accessible 24/7 e-learning modules, face to face classroom sessions, and live virtual classes delivered using CloudRooms. All this will be hosted on REDTRAY's learning portal, ALTO, which will be the single point of access for all Hill Dickinson's staff training requirements.

Bob Woodland, Chairman and CEO of REDTRAY comments, "We are delighted to have Hill Dickinson as a new client. The solution we are using to deliver their learning mirrors the work we already do so successfully for our other clients where we combine ALTO, e-learning and classroom training."

Woodland believes that a flexible approach to learning is a key element in gaining success with training staff, especially when it comes to long term projects. Breaking down modules into small chunks, which enables people to learn more and absorb new information more easily, is very important to ensure employees understand any system transformations at work.

Keith Feeny says, "After seeing the unique learning methods REDTRAY applies in its training, we recognised that we had found the partner we were looking for. We know that to succeed in our goals we need to engage all our employees with our IT systems and technology and maximise their potential. We trust that partnering with REDTRAY's experience will help us reach our business objectives."
