FRANKLIN, MA, September 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) Internet marketing consultant Bruce Wood was the featured guest on Point of Reference, a weekly telecast hosted by Frank Novak on HCTV (Haverhill Community Television). The show was taped on Thursday, September 16, 2010 and is scheduled to be broadcast on Cable TV several times over the coming weeks.
The subject of the program was how small business owners, non-profit organizations and social groups can find qualified leads and promote their agendas online using free and easy-to-learn methods.
Bruce Wood is author of an instructional e-book on the subject called "7 Free Ways To Promote Your Business Online Even If You Don't Have A Web Site." In his on-air conversation with host Frank Novak, he explained some basic internet concepts and the first steps any organization should take to reach their target audience for free on the internet. These steps include creating a Facebook "fan" page, using Twitter, and the value of writing articles and submitting online press releases.
The short, thirty-minute program gave just enough time to cover some basics, and Frank Novak invited Wood to return on a future show to expand on the topics. Wood said "I'm on a mission to spread the word that it's easy and relatively inexpensive to promote anything online."
Bruce Wood is a veteran entrepreneur who has owned retail and service businesses for over twenty-five years. He has the distinction of having been a member of the Mid America Commodity Exchange, and has received several awards for coaching new entrepreneurs online. He is currently an Internet marketing specialist and creator of Orphic Marketing , a proprietary method for lead generation online.
