LAS VEGAS, NV, September 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) In an industry that is still considered to be taboo and is rarely spoken about in public, Valarie Amber, a top VIP dancer in Las Vegas and New York, has decided to write a "how-to" book for the ladies who work in Gentlemen's Clubs before she hangs up the clear platform heals forever. Amber's book, "The Naked Truth in a Gentlemen's Club" will give readers a better understanding of the different topics such as sustaining longevity respectively while earning top dollar. She also discusses relationships and insights pertaining to the industry.
Amber began working in the dancing industry 10 years ago and is now recognized as one of the most respectable and top VIP dancers in Las Vegas. During her career she has experienced for herself, as well as seen with other dancers, all of the mistakes new dancers commit without even realizing it, which ends up costing the dancer her reputation.
"The most educated women coming into this industry will be intimidated because of the atmosphere," Amber said. "Also, the communication with men is different than what they are used to in the real world; it is difficult for them to adjust to."
With the help of "The Naked Truth in a Gentlemen's Club," new dancers, and even experienced dancers, can learn what not to do to ensure they earn top dollar every night. In her book, Amber describes the different types of customers who enter a club and how to handle each customer correctly and efficiently. She also describes the different styles of dancing so a dancer doesn't get pushed into a role they are not ready for, or a role they are not interested in.
"I wrote The Naked Truth in a Gentlemen's Club because I found a niche within the industry that is in high demand due to a rapidly growing trend," Amber said. "Only a person in my position with the extensive experience and expertise in this field can write about this topic."
The Gentlemen's Club industry is often not spoken about out loud since the only side of a strip club the public hears about are the myths and the negative stories. Negative comments and stereotyping has left the women who work in these clubs constantly fighting to prove not all dancers are the same.
"Women today have it hard enough fighting for respect in this industry, but I am ready to answer any tough question," Amber said. "My book is here to clear up the myths that are believed about the strip clubs. It's a growing industry where there are no guide lines for a dancer on how to conduct business, until now."
Along with her book, Amber also teaches classes to dancers to help give them as much information as possible.
