HONG KONG, September 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Hong Kong is to play host to the annual Fine Art Asia fair between October 3rd and 7th 2011.
The event will take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and is described by organisers as the leading annual fine art fair in the region, presenting a combination of artistic works and antiques.
More than 90 carefully selected dealers from Asia, Europe and the US will exhibiting at the seventh yearly event, with pieces on display to include a vast range of museum-quality items spanning 15,000 years of history.
Among the exhibits will be Chinese and Himalayan bronzes and stone wares, various pieces of furniture, textiles and jades, plus antique silvers and paintings, as well as contemporary works from the East and West.
The fair will be open to the public each day from October 3rd to 6th from 11:00 to 19:00 local time, while it will close an hour earlier on the final day.
Tickets cost HK$200 (GBP15.80) for a pair of two passes and HK$50 for students and senior citizens, while children under 12 can enter for free.
