Last Concerts iPhone App Brings the Last.fm Live Concert Experience to iPhone
Today version 2.0 of Last Concerts has been released, an application that lets live music lovers manage their Last.fm concert activities from their iPhone.

We all know that Last.fm serves to discover new music, but it does so much more than that. Each day the social network is used by a vast audience of concert goers to trade tickets or discuss live shows. People get to know each other on concerts and post photos or reviews of the show. The database is continuously updated by dedicated fans and has become the reference for live music experiences all over the world.Last Concerts is an iPhone app that concentrates on the live concert aspect of Last.fm. It will keep a copy of all your activities offline, serving as an agenda for upcoming concerts or as a souvenir for past ones. For every concert you can see what people are saying ("shouts" in Last.fm lingo), who is attending and what photos have been uploaded.
New in this version is the ability to star a venue to keep track of its agenda. It really feels like you have its flyers in your pocket all the time, so you will never be the last to hear it when your favorite artist is playing in your town.
The search functionality is equally handy. It uses your location to find out which concerts are going on in your neighborhood. If you are on a city trip in a place where you do not know the scene you can find out what is happening in a snap. Even at home you might find that there are venues hidden in unexpected places.
