Last Concerts is an iPhone app that concentrates on the live concert aspect of Last.fm. It will keep a copy of all your activities offline, serving as an agenda for upcoming concerts or as a souvenir for past ones. For every concert you can see what people are saying ("shouts" in Last.fm lingo), who is attending and what photos have been uploaded.
New in this version is the ability to star a venue to keep track of its agenda. It really feels like you have its flyers in your pocket all the time, so you will never be the last to hear it when your favorite artist is playing in your town.
The search functionality is equally handy. It uses your location to find out which concerts are going on in your neighborhood. If you are on a city trip in a place where you do not know the scene you can find out what is happening in a snap. Even at home you might find that there are venues hidden in unexpected places.
