Beef 'O' Brady's Shares the "Luck of the Irish" With Schools in Need

Family Sports Pub Franchise Launches Flat Paddy Promotion to Benefit Education

2011-09-01
NORTHBROOK, IL, September 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Kids at Beef 'O' Brady's are feelin' lucky, and if they play their cards right, their schools could soon sport the luck of the Irish too. Beef 'O' Brady's, the restaurant chain made famous for its Buffalo-style chicken wings and community involvement, launched its "Flat Paddy" promotion on August 29, 2011 as a way to support local schools and excite its young fan base.

Through the Flat Paddy promotion, students are encouraged to pick up coloring packets at their local Beef 'O' Brady's restaurant and bring their decorated character on adventures, documenting the experiences online. Beef 'O' Brady's will donate $1000 to the school with the highest involvement during the four week promotion, which ends September 30, 2011. In order for photos to qualify, the child's school name must be in the description of the picture when uploaded to the "See Yourself @ Beef's" page on the Beef 'O' Brady's website.

"Given the great volume of families who frequent our restaurants, we anticipate big participation from our young customers, said Chris Elliott, CEO of Beef 'O' Brady's. "Flat Paddy encourages children to use their creativity and imagination, and because this LTO will benefit a school, we think this is a promotion that everyone can get excited about."

In addition to the grand prize of $1,000 for the winning school, two customers per week will win a gift card when they enter a picture that correlates with specific themes. Winners chosen from the website submissions will be for longest distance traveled, best in-school/class picture, best family outing, and best sporting event picture. Additional categories on the Beef 'O' Brady's Facebook page are for best picture with a local hero, best picture of charity work, best haircut picture and most unique place. As an additional bonus, there is a coupon included on each coloring packet good for a free kid's meal or 4 free game room tokens. Flat Paddy coloring sheets can also be printed from the Beef 'O' Brady's website.

The Flat Paddy program was implemented with Beef 'O' Brady's ongoing commitment to community support in mind. To learn more about Beef 'O' Brady's and the Flat Paddy program, visit http://www.beefobradys.com.
