Local New York Life Office Makes Grant To Support The United Way Of The Greater Triangle

Foundation Grant To Support People In Need In Durham, Johnston, Orange And Wake Counties

RALEIGH, NC, September 02, 2011 (Press-News.org) Paul Holmes, managing partner for the Raleigh office of New York Life Insurance Company (http://www.raleighnyl.com), has announced that the Raleigh office through the New York Life Foundation has made a $2,500 donation to the United Way of the Greater Triangle, an organization that works to help more than 300,000 people in need across Durham, Johnston, Orange and Wake counties annually. United Way of the Greater Triangle brings together local partner agencies, nonprofits, government volunteers and experts in Durham, Johnston, Orange and Wake counties to focus on lasting changes to key issues, such as education, income stability and healthy living. The New York Life Foundation awards approximately 138 grants annually to local United Ways nationwide to support community programming.
