LONDON, ENGLAND, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Imagination Creative Director, Executive Producer of Events, Lee Munden, will be speaking on day one in the Marketing and Business Theatre on 'Big brands don't cry: Successful marketing events for household names'.
"To cut-through in a crowded marketplace, brands need to come to life to grab your audience's attention and prove their relevance," Mr Munden said.
"Big brands can't rely solely on being a household name, and live and experiential events can really make an impact on the brand itself."
Richard Foulkes, Imagination Director and President of International Special Events Society UK, will also be involved as part of a 45 minute panel session taking place on day two.
The panel discussion, 'Raising the bar: How to get more from your association', includes board members from the Meetings Industry Association, Eventia and the International Congress and Convention Association and will be hosted by Paul Colsten, editor of Conference News.
The discussion will provide insight into the key associations, what they represent and how they fit together, Mr Foulkes said.
"Key associations play a significant role in the continuing growth of the event, convention and conference industry," he said.
"It is important that those in this exciting industry find the association that fits with them, just as it is essential the leading associations work together for the greater good of the whole industry."
Event UK, which attracted almost 4,000 event professionals last year, features the full spectrum of the UK's meetings and event industry from product launches, live events and experiential marketing to conventions and congresses.
The event, which this year has 300 exhibitors and 20 educational seminars, brings exhibiting companies who provide services for the event industry together, including destinations, venues, catering and entertainment.
