SOUTHAMPTON, ENGLAND, September 22, 2010 (Press-News.org) Many organisations need photographs, artwork, video and audio clips for research purposes or to promote themselves through publications and provide up-to-date content for websites. Image library software organises instantly searchable approved imagery into categories and makes it easy to download instead of emailing large files across an intranet or the internet.
"Our usual customers are large corporate organisations and I want to make our professional web-based digital asset management software affordable to small organisations," says Martin Webster. "This may appeal to small charities relying on publications for fund raising; design agencies to offer each client their own area within the library and colleges to organise marketing materials and student work."
MediaLibrary is password protected, searchable by keyword or browsing categories. User access rights range from viewing thumbnails and requesting photos to uploading content, adding searchable metadata and downloading files. Permissions and terms and conditions are recorded ensuring the photos are used legally. An administrator manages the library structure and user access rights.
Martin Webster, LogicMighty managing director since 1984, lives in West End, Southampton. 50th birthday celebrations took place in Las Vegas on 1 August and he delayed the discount so that colleges closed during the summer can apply in September.
The first 50 small organisations who qualify receive a one off cost site license for unlimited number of users for GBP500. Anyone may request a password to try the MediaLibrary software on-line demonstration or a free 30 day trial. All requests should be emailed to sales@logicmighty.co.uk
