The DNA LifePrint Event will provide local parents with vital tools that will help increase the likelihood of quickly recovering a child in the event that he or she is missing.
The DNA LifePrint Child Safety Event will give parents the tools recommended by the Department of Justice and the FBI to help keep children safe. These materials include an easy-to-use at home DNA identification kit, a high resolution digital color photograph of the child, a child safety journal, which will provide law enforcement officials with necessary information that will be needed immediately after they are reported missing, and an FBI certified biometric 10 digit fingerprint profile.
Following the event, which is endorsed by John Walsh, parents will be allowed to take all materials home with them at no cost. The visit will also not be recorded or on file.
