STAUNTON, VA, September 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Paul Obaugh Ford is proud to announce the arrival of the new EcoBoost engine to their Charlottesville area dealership. The new creation from Ford is the result of increased demand for fuel efficiency without the loss of power.
The engine was first released in the ever popular Ford F-150 truck and is now making its way into more and more vehicles in the company's line up. The 2011 F-150 EcoBoost is available in a 3.5-liter V-6 model that provides enough power to tow 11,300 pounds. It also delivers 365 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque but still manages an impressive 16 miles per gallon city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway. The Ford F-150 EcoBoost is currently on the lot at Paul Obaugh Ford.
For the 2012 model years Ford plans to put a smaller, but still powerful 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine in the Edge and Explorer. The same engine that powers the F-150 currently will still be used and will now also be available in the Taurus SHO and Flex.
Ford is making great strides to show the world that they are truly an industry leader. For more information about the EcoBoost engines or about any of the other great Ford technologies that are available contact Paul Obaugh Ford at (888) 230-5461 or visit them online at http://www.paulobaughford.com.
