Adha Zelma Jewelry Takes Over The Lower East Side With A Runway Presentation For Their New Collection "Spirit Dancer"

NEW YORK, NY, October 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) Adha Zelma Jewelry previews their new collection "Spirit Dancer" on the runway at Grand Opening- 139 Norfolk St, NYC (btw: Stanton & Rivington) as a part of the L.E.S. runway fashion showcase and pop-up shop on September 30, 2011. They will be hosting 3 intimate shows at 7pm, 8:15pm and 9:30pm.

The designers, Sheanan Bond and Cherise TrahanMiller, were selected from over 75 emerging and local fashion/accessory designers to present their work on the creative Catwalk and alongside body painting artist, Danny Setiawan, to bring Spirit Dancer to life.

The collection is based on 3 themes - Protection, Love, and Ascension. The inspiration was drawn from the work of mixed-media illustrator Camilla do Rosário and an ancient love spell forging romantic play that can only exist through the night.

"The women featured in Camilla's world are so very strong, yet delicate at the same time," says Cherise. " Like our work, they seamlessly transition from this world to a world that is magical and full of wonderment. We were fascinated with that world and imagined it to be one that only lovers can see. . . one where talismans are used daily for protection, for love, and for spiritual ascension."
