Mr. Pillai is currently serving as Vice President of Business Transformation at Tata Communications Ltd. based in Mumbai, India. He is responsible for outsourcing and synergy initiative leading to better profitability. His engagements involved extensive consultancy with responsibility from pre-sales stage to implementation. Mr. Pillai is an IT and telecommunications professional who has implemented key transformation projects to drive scalability, productivity and efficiency over a career spanning two decades. He has held positions across strategy, planning, implementation and operations and executed multi-million dollar projects leading teams of over 200 members. Mr. Pillai has a M.Sc. in Operational Telecommunications from Coventry University, U.K. and a B. Tech in Electronics and Communications from College of Engineering, Trivandrum.
