LONDON, ENGLAND, November 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Fiona Aish and Jo Tomlinson, Master Trainers for PTE Academic, are pleased to be presenting at this year's English UK Teachers' Conference taking place at Prospero House, London on November 12th 2011.
The presentation, entitled 'Preparing Students for the PTE Academic' will be a chance for teachers and school managers to learn more about the test in general, and specifically to find out how to approach course and materials design.
Drawing on their experience as PTE Academic trainers for both students and teachers, Fiona and Jo will cover practical considerations in course design and delivery such as teacher knowledge and student levels of English and will also look at using the PTE Academic preparation materials available from Pearson. There will also be practical ideas for adapting EFL course books for use on a PTE Academic preparation course, together with suggestions for developing materials and activities for use in the classroom.
Fiona and Jo have been training teachers and preparing students for PTE Academic since the launch of the test in 2009 and are delighted to have this opportunity to share their ideas and knowledge at the English UK Teachers' Conference.
