CLARKSTON, WA, November 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) Binaytara Foundation (BTF) announces the recipient of the BTF medical research grant 2011. Dr. Smith Giri of the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Nepal, has been awarded the grant for his research project titled, "Intrauterine growth retardation (IUGR) and its correlates: a case control study in a tertiary level hospital of Nepal." Dr. Damiano Rondelli, Professor of Medicine at University of Illinois and BTF Scientific Committee Chair says, "The analysis of factors that may be associated with intrauterine growth retardation in developing countries is of pivotal importance for the progress of the whole nation."
Each year BTF awards research grants to medical students and young physicians to encourage them to understand and learn the practice of evidence-based medicine early in their medical career. The investigators apply electronically through BTF's website www.binayfoundation.org. The scientific advisory committee members review the research proposals; after detailed peer review for scientific merit and relevance of the proposed study, committee members select research grant awardees. Researchers are required to conduct the supported project within the stipulated time frame from the date of the award and, as a condition of the grant, furnish project reports at regular intervals.
BTF has provided several research grants to the medical students and physicians of Nepal and India. BTF uses telemedicine to improve patient care and promote evidence based medicine in Nepal.
Binaytara Foundation (BTF) is an Illinois non-profit organization exempt from taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The mission of the foundation is to bring positive change in society by promoting health and education.

But the fact that a quarter of respondents also confessed to committing the offense highlights ambivalence toward unsafe behaviors that in the worst cases lead to physical harm and at the very least can make it a challenge to find affordable coverage when they compare car insurance quotes online.
