Parts Center's plan to double locations across UK on track

The UK's largest specialist supplier of spare parts, Parts Center, is more than doubling its locations across the country by adding new trade counters or increasing its spares stockholding in all Plumb Center branches.

2010-09-23
WILTSHIRE, ENGLAND, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) The roll out, which is on track to be completed by the first quarter of 2011, will mean that Parts Center has nearly 500 locations nationwide, an increase of over 260. This will further boost the company's service to customers of hvac equipment, ensuring they are always able to obtain the top-value products they need quickly and easily.

Each branch will offer core stock items from the industry's leading names including Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Honeywell and Siemens. Additional spares can be obtained on a next-day* delivery service.

Colin McGregor, Parts Center Trading Director, said: "We have already added 130 Parts Center locations this year making the total to date 350 and the response has been so positive we have decided to open nearly 150 more. That's about 25 a month over the next six months.

"We know how important it is for hvac industry professionals to obtain the parts they need quickly and easily in order to do their job properly. By having more Parts Center locations within Plumb Center branches we are able to ensure our customers have access to everything they need under one roof."
