AUSTRIA, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) TEC-IT Datenverarbeitung GmbH (tec-it.com), leading vendor of AUTO-ID and barcode software releases the new version of the barcode label printing software TFORMer.
This versatile label printing software can be used directly on workstations, as server based installation and as reporting component by software developers. Documents are designed visually with the user-friendly layout editor, new labels are created in no time flat. Variable printing data is entered manually or provided by external datasources like databases. The bar code labels can be printed directly to any printer or exported in various formats like PostScript, PDF, image formats, ZPL-II and HTML.
TEC-IT's CEO, Guenter Kriegl, explains the goals of the actual product version: "Enhancing the productivity was the main focus of this release. TEC-IT has simplified the user interface, which makes the application more comprehensible. In addition, the impressive list of ready-to-use label templates was extended. TFORMer provides templates for most standard labeling applications - especially for automotive and logistics applications. They can be used in an instant and eliminate design efforts completely. Printed results are available immediately."
In addition to AIAG, VDA, Galia, Odette, GM, GTL, GS1 and various other labeling standards, compliance templates for Caterpillar Shipping Identification Labels and MAT Labels were added. Printing on common laser, inkjet or thermal transfer labels was simplified by an improved wizard. The support of serial numbers was also significantly enhanced. Serial numbers are maintained, printed and stored completely automatically by TFORMer. External databases are not required for this purpose. Further highlights are the newly introduced computed fields, additional functions for date and time computations and substantial database connectivity improvements.
TFORMer can be downloaded from http://www.tec-it.com for evaluation purposes free of charge. The solution is available for Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher (including Windows 7) on 32 bit and 64 bit systems. For Linux and UNIX platforms the reporting software component TFORMer SDK is available.
